Voki is a great website that you can use really easily and it's free. It's an avatar creator that you can have say whatever you like and gives you an easy embed code when you're finished to add to your blog.
So, here's some easy steps:
1. Go to Voki.com
2. Register and activate your account (it's free!)
3. Create an avatar. You can randomize by using the dice next to the picture.
4. Decide what you want them to say. I used the typing feature and chose an English accent. You can also call in or use a microphone if you want them to have your voice.
5. When you are ready, click Publish.
6. Copy the code into the HTML section of your post and wa-la.. you have a talking little character.
