Design It Up! is a feature which helps you learn handy little tricks to tweak up your blog. This week we are learning is a quick tip that may make some of your readers very happy… it is the Top of the Page icon. Have you ever been on a site and think “Gosh, now I have to scroll all the way to the top again”? Well with this feature, your readers will never think this again!


You may have noticed a small arrow on the bottom right side of my blog. This is my page up icon. It is a really great feature that continuously floats at the bottom right of my blog. If you are at the bottom of the page, and want to quickly get to the top, all you have to do it click it and done… you are back at the top! Want one for your blog? Here is how to install it:

1.) Layout- Page Element.

2) Select “Add a gadget” then “HTML/Javascript”

3) Use the following code:

4) Select “Preview” to make sure it looks correct. Then select “Save.”

The image and code listed above have taken from Blogger Buster.

However, you can use any image you like in replace of the arrow. To do this, simply upload your picture to Photobucket or any other image site, and input the direct link to your image in place of: http://bloggerbuster.com/images/arrow-up.gif

    The tiny small things on a blog can add up to a lot, thanks for the post! I added the arrow to my blog :) It’s really helpful, better than waiting a long few seconds to scroll up!
