The Monster Report

Welcome to another edition of the Monster Report. The Monster Report explores the book happenings of Kate and Kristen. Whether it be what we got in our mailboxes, what books we are currently hiding in, or fun stuff to look forward to this week at The Book Monsters, you can find it here. The Monster Report is a spin off of my old Shelf Report, and is inspired by Alea's This Week in Books and Sheila's It's Monday, What are you Reading?

Kristen is the co-blog owner of The Book Monsters. I am a twenty-something year old who is passionate about reading. I am a Library Media Specialist in an elementary school in the suburbs of Chicago. When I'm not reading, I'm attending bookish events, spending time with my hubby, or catching up on TV shows (I am forever behind!).

  1. I can’t wait for Because it is My Blood; the first book was one of my favorite reads last year and I am hoping to enjoy this one at least as much or more!

I’m also reading I am (not) the Walrus soon so I’m looking forward to Kristen’s review.

  2. I still have to read Ann Aguire’s first book. :) Hope you’re enjoying the series!

    • It is a really good series. Outpost was amazing. Possibly better than Enclave. Hope you get around to read them.

  3. New Follower. Outpost looks really good.

  11. Looks like fun! I am excited to read Legends of Zita the Spacegirl. I love Zita. I met Ben Hatke a couple of months ago and he’s really nice.

I have a question, what does it mean when you say “Presents.” I can’t tell if it’s what you are reading right now, like in the present, or if someone gave it to you as a present? Just curious. :)

    Glad you are linking up!

  12. Thank you ladies for linking up on our Monday meme celebrating kid and YA lit! We really appreciate you participating :)
