Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
This week our topic is: Top Ten Bookish Goals for 2013
Read more! I always seem to fall off reading before the end of the year and fail to meet my goal. I'm going again this year for 300 books, but I'd be okay with topping 240.
Dust off my e-reader. It's not used much and I have a bazillion books on there that I really ought to read.
Discover some new manga or graphic novels. I've been stuck on some of the same series and it's time to branch out.
Visit the library for at least manga or graphic novels.. or see what ebooks and audiobooks they have available.
Go through my own book collections. It's time to weed and maybe empty a bookshelf (or two) – I have 7 after all and they are starting to burst at the seems again.
Keep up to date with book reviews. I tend to wait until I have a good 10+ reviews to write before I sit down and actually write any of them.
Read those books I swear I was going to read in 2012 – like Divergent… or Alice in Zombieland.. or the last two Beautiful Creatures books.
Reread Beautiful Creatures before I see the movie, or the same for any other book into movie.
It's time to reread Harry Potter, it's been a couple of years.
Last, but not least… I want to read some "Grown-up" books this year. Maybe some classics, maybe some nonfiction. Who knows. I love YA and MG but sometimes I need a nice thoughtful piece of literature that will engulf my soul.

Great resolutions! I want to reread Harry Potter sometime in the near future too. And read some more adult books.
It’s harder to read things on an e reader, isn’t it? The books don’t beckon the way hard copies do!
Great goals! I need to purge some of my books as well, but it isn’t easy! My old solution was to buy another bookcase, but we don’t have space anymore. Going to have to bite the bullet and purge. *sniff*
Good luck with all of your goals! Here’s to a great year!
#9 – GREAT IDEA. I may steal it.
#10 – On my list, too. I want to read ‘adult’ fantasy again instead of just the YA stuff. I feel as though I’ve missed some great reads in the past few years.
Thanks for sharing your list!
Those are some really great goals. I can totally relate to some of them. Best of luck!
These are really great goals. Our number ones are the same- read more! I am working on number 6 now. I find if I wait to write the review later I miss a lot of the emotion I felt while reading and the review suffers.
I like you list and especially number nine. I might just do it too. I need my Potter fix.
I really love weeding down my bookshelves. I have a huge stack of books to give away/give as gifts in a cubby hole. It makes me feel accomplished, and also makes gift giving less expensive!
Aaah, rereading Harry Potter. Not a bad idea at all. Nice list, and I love the graphics.
Aah, getting back into different manga. I kind of neglected the otaku side of me last year. And rereading Harry Potter is always a great time. Have a good year!
