With the Nightshade series, I am cheating a bit. I have read Nightshade and loved it, but I have yet to finish another book in this series.

Great picks. I loved Nightshade, didn’t care for book 2 and refused to read the third book Here are my picks.

The Body Finder and Chaos Walking are on my list, too. I’ve heard good things about Seven Realms, it would be a good one to tackle some day. Also, I have a copy of Strange Angels I’d be willing to part with if you didn’t already own it and would like to start the series. Let me know and I’ll e-mail you =)

I was going to include NK Jemisin in mine as well but filled my list up too quickly I’ve heard fabulous things about her work, though, and can’t wait to get to her!

The Inheritance Trilogy didn’t make my list but I really want to read it since I’ve been on a high fantasy kick lately.
I’ve read The Body Finder and thought it was okay…but not great.

Oh, I think you’ll love the Chaos Walking series – Ness writes such gripping fiction! I should have put the Jemisin series on my list too. I have the first book on the shelf but haven’t gotten around to reading it. Thanks for sharing your list!
